The Lydian Electrum is widely regarded as the world's first coin — minted in the ancient kingdom of Lydia over 2,600 years ago. It represents the beginning of structured commerce, trust between parties, and the enduring value of considered exchange. It is the foundation on which Lydian Financial Services was built.

Established in 2020 by Directors Andrew Rocks and Chris Booth, LFS was created with a clear purpose: to deliver an unrivalled proposition within the Australian financial services industry. The platform was designed to connect a national network of professional mortgage brokers with financial advice practices — empowering both to better serve their clients' lending and property needs.

Underpinning the platform is our Directors' extensive history within the financial advice industry, combined with LFS Group's continued investment in innovation, technology, and back-office process and service solutions.

About Chris

Chris Booth is the CEO of Lydian Financial Services and has been working in the finance and mortgage broking industry for over 20 years. His passion for helping Australians achieve their financial goals has driven the growth of Lydian into one of Australia's leading mortgage broking groups.

Experience

Chris has extensive experience across all facets of finance, including residential and commercial lending, financial planning, and business development. He holds a Bachelor of Business and is a qualified mortgage broker and financial planner.

Philosophy

Chris believes that everyone deserves access to expert financial guidance and that the right financial advice can transform lives. Under his leadership, Lydian has helped thousands of Australians purchase their dream homes, grow their investment portfolios, and secure their financial futures.

Outside of Work

When he's not working, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, following AFL, and is passionate about community involvement and charitable endeavours.

In her role as COO, Sarah oversees the day-to-day operations of Lydian, ensuring that the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
