Career Summary
Steven is seasoned finance professional with a wealth of experience in lending, be it home and investment loans, business and commercial lending or SMSF.
Steven started his career in the United Kingdom learning the skills of business lending with the National Westminster Bank and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Moving to Sydney, Steven joined St.George Bank Corporate, specialising in lending to professional services businesses and their owners. This followed with 5 years leading the Business and Home Lending Specialist teams as part of the Westpac Group. Supporting and coaching the team to structure and write credit applications whilst ensuring customers achieved the outcome that was in their best interests.
The next stage of Steven’s career brought him to become a Mortgage Broker where his focus for helping customers and businesses achieve their goals and dreams continues. With the wealth of options available via the Lydian network at his disposal he ensures the best advice and recommendations can be provided.

A bit about me
I grew up in Leeds, UK. Leaving school I was destined to work in the bank, “a job for life” they said.
A 12-month career break from the UK corporate life took me backpacking around the world. Finding my feet in Sydney, just in time to get a working holiday visa, I joined the banking industry. How many years later…? I am still here and still love it!
Living on Sydney’s North Shore, I love spending time outdoors, at the beach or in the bush. I’ll always have the passion to travel and if I can get in a few SCUBA dives the better the trip.
Growing up in Leeds I became a big supporter of Leeds United and that doesn’t change. All the ups and downs, marching on together!
