Chris has over 30 years of Banking experience.
Starting his career in the Isle of Man working in Treasury and Financial Market Services for Royal Bank Of Scotland, Chris left the island when he married Kellie and moved to Sydney, Australia.
He has worked for Bank Of China in Treasury, Commonwealth Bank in Premium Banking and Corporate Banking, St George Bank Corporate specialising in finance for Financial Services Business.
Specialising in Mortgage Broking when he joined The Announcer Group in 2010, Chris built a successful Mortgage Broking Business and Team within an integrated Wealth Management Business.
More recently, he was the Manager of Lending at Infocus Advisory where he managed a team of Mortgage Brokers who worked in Partnership Referrals with the Groups 200+ Adviser network.
Chris is a seasoned lender with experience in residential and commercial complex transactions. He has mentored and managed many Mortgage Brokers into the industry. He has a passion for team building and has professionally managed both operations and sales team within scale business’. He brings these years of experience and knowledge to the Lydian Team.

A bit about me
A bit about me 😊….
I grew up on the Isle of Man, smack bang between England and Ireland and enjoyed lots of fun times with my Three Legged friends!
After running away from home at 18, I had a very good time studying and partying at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Needing a long break after the "rigour" of passing my Honours degree in Hospitality, I found myself as a "Pommy Backpacker" in Australia in 1995.
Not sure if I ever sought out to be an uber banker, (my primary career goal was to sail around the world) but as it turns out Banking found me in in 1996 where I began my journey in Financial Markets at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
In 2008 I began my Mortgage Broking journey and have enjoyed the fact that everything I do is based around the client. Having experienced managing and working in a Broking team and mentored many brokers, I have chosen to focus my career in taking mortgage broking people and business' from good to great!
I am a father of three great kids, and a beautiful and patient wife Kellie, and a fantastic group of friends from here and abroad. I support the Roosters in the NRL and much to the frustration of others (I am an Aussie Citizen) love to see the English Cricket and Rugby team torment the Aussies.
